Waiting for Dawn

ready to conquer the world

at the slightest

moment

the COVID-19 falls from

the tower of doom

hitting the ground

with deadly force

and wheezing

like a miserable ghost

as i punch it

in the eye

crushing its evil body under

the fading flower

i alter its form and shape

and the genetic composition of the disease

along the way

i find the cure

to the coronavirus menace

at dawn

saving humanity
from the pandemic

with deafening roar

under the autumn sun
